About Dhela Forest Zone
The Dhela Zone, established in December 2014, is the sixth and newest eco-tourism zone in Jim Corbett National Park. Unlike other zones, it remains open throughout the year and is spread over 1,173 hectares. The forest is rich with flora like Sal, Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, and Kusum. Fauna includes tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, sloth bears, king cobras, and diverse bird species.

Jungle Safari
Visitors can enjoy both Elephant and Jeep Safaris in this zone. Jeep Safari requires prior booking. Forest trails with armed guards are available, offering thrilling experiences and wildlife encounters with elephants, tigers, and other species.
Chaurs (Grass Lands)
Laldhang Chaur is the major grassland attraction in the Dhela Zone. Elephants, deer, wild pigs, and Neelgai are commonly seen. It's also a hotspot for grassland bird watchers.

How to Reach Dhela
The entry to the Dhela Zone is through the Dhela Gate, which is the same as for the Jhirna Zone. It is located approximately 15 km from Ramnagar and is well connected by road.
